2 is the second full-length album by (G)I-DLE. It was released on January 29, 2024 with "Super Lady" serving as the album's title track. "Fate" was also promoted on music shows.
"Wife" was pre-released on January 22, 2024.
The physical album comes in 13 versions: 0, 1, 2, five individual Jewel versions and five individual Poca Album versions.
Background[]
On December 1, 2023, News1 reported that the group is in the final stage of preparations for a comeback in January 2024 with their second full-length album. Cube confirmed the report a few hours later.[1] On January 8, 2024, (G)I-DLE unveiled the first teaser for their second full-length album 2, set to be released on January 29.[2]
Promotions[]
On February 3, 2024, Cube Entertainment announced that Shuhua would be halting all scheduled promotions activities due to a physical illness.[3] On February 8, Cube announced that she will be going on a temporary hiatus after she visited the hospital and was advised to rest for the time being.[4]

On January 24, 2024, Cube Entertainment announced that 2 surpassed 1.8 million stock pre-orders.[5]
According to Hanteo Chart, 2 sold 862,992 copies on its first day of sales,[6] and 1,537,083 copies in its first week.[7]
2 reached #1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in 24 regions, and #1 on the Apple Music Top Albums in 8 regions.[6]
2 debuted at #132 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart.[8]
On March 26 at 9:30 a.m. KST, Instiz's iChart announced that "Fate" had scored a perfect all-kill after it went viral without being originally promoted.[9]
