1NB (원앤비) was a girl group under Trivus Entertainment. As a three-member group, they released the pre-debut single "Stalker" on February 6, 2017 before officially debuting as a five-member group on November 29, 2017 with the single "Where U At". On April 27, 2018, the group announced that they had disbanded.[1]
Their name stands for "1 New Best".
History[]
2017: Pre-debut with "Stalker", lineup changes, debut[]
The group originally consisted of members Leeda, Shinhye, and Jungyu. The trio released and promoted the pre-debut single "Stalker" on February 6, 2017. The single's music video gained one million views in eight days and received high praise from Japanese horror comic artist Junji Ito.[2] However, soon after the single's release, Jungyu left the girl group due to personal reasons.
On April 4, 2017, it was announced that Jayeon had joined 1NB.[3] This was followed with Hajung joining on April 16,[4] and her younger twin sister, Sojung, joining the group on May 4.[5] On August 23, 2017, it was confirmed that Leeda and Hajung would appear in KBS's rebooting show The Unit.[6]
1NB eventually made their official debut on November 29, 2017 with the single "Where U At".[7]
2018: Disbandment[]
On April 27, 2018, less than a year after their debut, it was announced that 1NB had disbanded.[8]

Trivia[]
- Originally, their agency's producer told them their name would be One-Na-Bl, an acronym for the manga series' One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach. They were also told their stage names would be Bibi, Nami, and Robin (characters from One Piece). The girls objected and they ended up with 1NB instead.[12]
- Jayeon was a former contestant on Produce 101.
- Jungyu was a former member of LAYSHA under the name Yoobin. After training with 1NB, she debuted as a member of CAMILA.
