On January 13, 2025, Hanhee announced via Instagram story that she will have her first comeback during the summer of 2025.[1] On March 11, she announced she would be releasing her upcoming collaboration and digital single soon.[2] On the same day, she posted hints of her single's track list via Instagram stories.[3]
On April 8, she revealed to be planning a comeback in June.[4] On May 23, it was announced that Hanhee would be releasing her single "♡%" on June 10.[5]
