"Supernova" - восьмой цифровой сингл aespa. Его релиз состоялся 13 мая 2024 года в качестве предрелизного сингла для их первого полноформатного альбома Armageddon.
Предпосылки[]
22 апреля 2024 года aespa представили интро-видео-тизер для своего первого полноформатного альбома Armageddon, который выйдет 27 мая.[1] Предварительный релиз "Supernova" состоялся 13 мая.[2]
Композиция[]
"Supernova" – это танцевальная композиция с сильными ударными и минималистичным басовым звучанием, с захватывающей мелодической линией и завораживающим синтезаторным звучанием.
Лирика уподобляет начало события, открывающего дверь в другое измерение, сверхновой, предвосхищая полноценное повествование второго сезона SMCU в мире aespa. Он выражает в модном настроении начало внутреннего взрыва, придавая «железному вкусу» aespa приятные оттенки.
Коммерческий успех[]
25 мая песня "Supernova" достигла Perfect All-Kill, став самой быстрой песней, которой удалось сделать это в 2024 году[3]
По состоянию на 2 сентября, "Supernova" возглавляла недельный хит-парад The Melon 15 недель подряд, побив предыдущий рекорд, установленный песней NewJeans "Ditto".[4]
2 ноября Ассоциация звукозаписывающей индустрии Японии присвоила "Supernova" золотой сертификат.[5]
"Supernova" заняла 99-е место в чарте Billboard Japan Hot 100 по итогам 2024 года.[6]
